Refunds & cancellations
These terms apply to professional audit engagements with Infrastructure Node. Website forms do not take payment; deposits are collected under engagement letters.
Eligibility
Refunds relate only to fees paid under a signed engagement letter for licensing readiness audits, diligence control reviews, AML walkthroughs, or safeguarding health checks. Informational pricing on this website is not a charge.
Timeframe to request
Refund requests should be emailed to hello@infrastructure-node.digital within 14 days of the event giving rise to the request (for example, cancellation confirmation or disputed invoice date), unless the engagement letter sets a different window.
Full refund
A full refund of amounts paid is available if we cancel the engagement before fieldwork begins for reasons within our control, or if a scoping error on our side makes the agreed deliverable impossible and no substitute scope is agreed.
Partial refund
If you cancel after the engagement letter is signed but before fieldwork starts, we may retain the deposit to cover preparation already performed and refund any unused balance. If fieldwork has started, fees for work completed (document review, interviews held, sampling performed) remain payable; unused prepaid amounts may be partially refunded at our reasonable assessment.
Non-refundable items
The following are generally non-refundable: deposits once document request lists have been issued and kickoff held; third-party travel costs already incurred for agreed on-site days; and fees for completed deliverables such as issued findings memos.
Work already started
Once interviews or sample testing begin, the engagement is considered started. Cancellation thereafter does not unwind completed fieldwork. We will deliver any partial work product already prepared if useful and already paid for.
Deposits
Typical deposits are 40% of the fixed fee on signature. Deposits secure scheduling of partner and fieldwork lead time. Unused deposit portions follow the partial refund rules above.
Rescheduling
You may request to reschedule fieldwork once without fee if notice is given at least 10 business days before the first scheduled interview day. Later reschedules may incur a rescheduling charge reflecting recommitment of the team calendar.
No-shows
If control owners miss agreed interview slots without 24 hours’ notice and the delay prevents completing the sample within the agreed window, additional day rates may apply, or the engagement may be re-scoped. Missed slots are not a basis for refund of the deposit.
Purchased materials
We do not sell physical products. Any printing or courier costs advanced at your request for working papers are reimbursable expenses and are non-refundable once incurred.
Refund process & timing
Email hello@infrastructure-node.digital with the engagement reference, amount paid, and reason. We confirm eligibility within 10 business days. Approved refunds are returned via the original payment method within 15 business days of approval, unless a bank transfer arrangement in the engagement letter requires otherwise.
Exceptions
Mandatory legal requirements in Taiwan take precedence. Engagement letters may set stricter or more specific commercial terms for a named project; those signed terms control if they conflict with this page.
